This Privacy Policy explains how Paid & Sold ("Paid & Sold", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit www.paidandsold.com or contact us. Paid & Sold is a paid media agency that works with businesses in the United States and Argentina.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send a brief through our contact form we collect your name, work email, company or website, a short description of what you sell, your type of business, your approximate monthly ad spend and your main goal. If you email or message us, we keep that correspondence.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and the date and time of the visit. If we use analytics or advertising tools (for example Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel), they may set cookies or similar technologies to measure visits and the performance of our own ads. See section 6.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information such as health data, financial account numbers or government ID numbers through the website.
2. How we use your information
- To read and answer your brief and to prepare a proposal.
- To communicate with you about our services, if you asked us to or are already a client.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
- To measure the results of our own advertising.
- To comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights.
We process your information on the basis of your consent (for example, when you send the form), to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and for our legitimate interest in running and improving our business.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run the website and our business, such as hosting, form handling, email and analytics providers. They may only use the information to provide their services to us.
- Advertising platforms, only if we use their measurement tools on this site (see section 6).
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, our clients or others.
4. International transfers
We work from the United States and Argentina, and some of our service providers store data in other countries. When information is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps so that it keeps an adequate level of protection.
5. How long we keep information
We keep briefs and related correspondence for as long as needed to evaluate and follow up on the request, and for up to 24 months if we do not start working together, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Information about clients is kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards as required for legal, tax or accounting purposes.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use only the cookies needed for the website to work, plus analytics and advertising cookies if they are enabled. These help us understand how visitors use the site and how our own ads perform. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized ads in your Google and Meta account settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from using this website.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact form or by email at operations@paidandsold.com and tell us what you need. We will answer within the time required by applicable law.
Residents of Argentina. The owner of personal data has the right to access it free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown (Article 14, paragraph 3 of Law No. 25,326). The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, as the control body of Law No. 25,326, handles complaints and claims from anyone whose rights are affected by a breach of the rules on personal data protection.
Residents of U.S. states with privacy laws (such as California) may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to the people who need it and secure service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
